- Supabase access rules (RLS). Lovable apps keep their data in Supabase. Row Level Security decides who can read and change each row. We check every table: each user sees only their own data, admins get admin rights, and paid features stay with paying users. We test it the way a curious user would, not just by reading the settings.
- Stripe payments. A user pays and gets access, every time. We make sure the app learns about payments from Stripe itself (webhooks), checks that each message really comes from Stripe, and counts every payment exactly once.
- Keys and AI spending. Secret keys live in Supabase Edge Functions settings, not in the code that runs in the browser. AI and payment keys get spending limits, so a bug or a bot can't run up a bill.
- Backups you can restore. Lovable Cloud keeps a daily database backup for about two weeks, but files in storage aren't part of it. We check what your backups cover, add what's missing and test a restore on a copy, so your live app is never touched.
- Monitoring. If the app goes down or users hit errors, you get an alert first, before anyone writes to support.
- Keep building in Lovable. We connect your project to GitHub, add tests for sign-up and payment and an automatic check before every release, and write rules your AI agent can follow. Lovable stays your main tool.
- Your own accounts, when you're ready. Want the app and the database in accounts you own? We move it to your own Supabase and Vercel: data, users, auth and storage. We test on a copy first, then switch.

Questions about Lovable apps
Will I still be able to edit my app in Lovable?
Yes. Lovable syncs with one GitHub branch in both directions, usually main. We work in separate branches and propose changes as pull requests. Once a change is merged, it shows up in Lovable, and you carry on as before.
Do I have to leave Lovable?
No. Most apps stay on Lovable and just get stronger foundations. Migration is for when you want the code, database and hosting fully in your own accounts.
My app uses Lovable Cloud, not my own Supabase. Can you still help?
Yes. The access rules live in your code as database migration files, so we review them the same way. If you want direct control, we move the database to your own Supabase project. Lovable lets you export it in full, including user accounts, so your users keep their passwords and just sign in again. Files, secrets and sign-in settings we move separately.
Lovable's security scan says everything is fine. Why test again?
Keep using the scan: it catches common access rule and configuration issues. Lovable's own docs note that a scan can't prove your rules are correct, and suggest checking that users only reach their own data. That's what our test does: we sign in as different test users and try to open each other's data, get paid features for free and act as an admin.
